Same here: got the call from JS yesterday.
Waitlisted after R1, it has been 3 months of interesting waiting time..
Seems like they called R1 waitlisted candidates after R2 decisions this year - Sept end - rather than before - Aug end - as they did in the previous years according to the 2013-2012 forums.

Sunzhilin,

Exactly this makes the wait more dreaded for me. Initially applied to the Sep intake, Waillisted and later got moved to the Jan WL........pure hell.....but its all good...sometimes you are like maybe a ding is better so i can move on......but i would take an admit any day......

I think I have practiced enough endurance...haha

Well I was asked to write a re-applicant essay and be moved to the Jan intake waitlist......so we will see what happens........

Found this forum after not being able to deal with the excruciating wait!!
R2 waitlisted applicant from Malaysia.
From what I'm seeing in the thread, there will be a round of waitlist removals after the R3 interviews?

I was R1 waitlist, and sent 2 update emails (one month apart), and finally called my coordinator last week for an update. She told me this morning that I got in.

Good luck to everyone still waiting. There's definitely still hope :-D
