prime factors of 98 = $$2*7^2$$
prime factors of 220 = $$2^2*5*11$$
prime factors of 270 = $$2*3^3*5$$

LCM of 98, 220, and 270 =
$$2^2*3^3*5*7^2$$

all the options i.e 90, 140, 330 and 490 can be obtained using the prime factors of LCM of 98, 220, and 270 except 40

Hence option A is correct

LCM (y)= 2^2.3^3.7^2.5^1.11^1

Only option A (40) contains 2^3 and the maximum power of 2 in LCM is 2.

Therefore A is the answer.

LCM(98, 220, and 270) -> 2^2*7^2*5*3^3*11
Lets check each option one by one until we get a number that isnt a factor.

A) 40 => 2^3*5
We don't have 2^3 in y
Hence this is not a factor.

Bingo.

SMASH THAT A.

LCM of 98, 220, 270 = $$2^{2}$$ * $$3^{2}$$ * 5 * $$7^{2}$$ * 11 = 97,020

* $$\frac{97020}{40}$$ = 2,425.5 (not divisible)

* $$\frac{97020}{90}$$ = 1078

* $$\frac{97020}{140}$$ = 693

* $$\frac{97020}{330}$$ = 294

* $$\frac{97020}{490}$$ = 198

Hence, Option (A) is the correct answer.
