deabas, I may be wrong again but
if stmt 1 is true, that means all signs will hold true for the inequality....we do not have to consider switching signs, hence my reason for picking A.

Can someone please come up with a counter example

No worries

Let's say a=1, b=2, c=3, and d=4
---> 1/2 1/2 2*(-3)
