Hi everyone,
Recently, I've noticed posts both on this forum and on Reddit where a lot of test-takers are complaining that they did very well in their GMATPrep mock exams, but the actual exam itself was harder, sometimes much harder.
I'd love for some experts to weigh in (
bb, @Bunuel) - can we consider this due to any (or a combination of) the following, or is it simply the case that GMATPrep is becoming outdated due to the increased number of test takers in the actual GMAT that is driving the type of hard questions seen on the test higher?
1) the fact that these folks are on the forums, they likely came across GMATPrep questions and were able to solve them when they wrote GMAT
2) test day anxiety/nerves
I only ask this because I want to know whether it is worth it for me to go and buy 6 tests from GMAC or continue using resources here/that I have purchased and only complete the two free mocks ( i have not touched either, planning to write them after I feel I am comfortable with my studying.)
Looking forward to everyone's thoughts!
