Is learning the Strategies of CR powerscore recommended? I feel as though I am not able to think properly after that. I used to Work the CR Verbal review books with just my logical reasoning and i was able to get most of them But for CR in OG 2017,most of the end questons im getting wrong.

Panicked!

Also, Are the questions towards the end in CR of OG 2017 the hard types?

it is very good book but cr is something that need practice..every source such as powerscore, manhattan n veritas are almost good but depending solely on concepts is wrong...practice official material n try to understand why wrong choice is wrong n what makes the right choice right..practice atleast 25 cr daily n note down the pattern of given argument..get use to these patterns n u will master cr in couple of days...try official source, lsat questions n manhattan...i also like veritas questions...just practice n focus on argument..hope it helps

I would hesitate to call these things "strategies". CR on the GMAT is entirely non-technical, and the Powerscore book does not have any real concepts as such. It does a good job of familiarizing the reader with the task (what the question wants) and with the common patterns seen in CR questions. And yes, OG questions tend to get tougher towards the end.

GMAT CR is meant to be solved with "just (your) logical reasoning" :-D

Hi Guys,

thank You.. But the problem is with especially the last questions of OG 2017 CR the reason i have is what they say insufficient but for me logically only that makes sense by making note of the pattern, what exactly is meant? I read a question i figure out the ends and thats it but each question differs for me invariably.
