I. ABCD is a parallelogram.
Every rectangle is a parallelogram, but vice-versa is not true. It is not necessary that every parallelogram is a rectangle
Insufficient

II. ABCD is a square.
Every square is a rectangle and a parallelogram, but vice-versa is not true.
Sufficient to say that ABCD is a rectangle

How come every square is a rectangle I thought that square has all sides equal while a rectangle has opposite sides equal .

How come every square is a rectangle I thought that square has all sides equal while a rectangle has opposite sides equal .

It's a property of the quadrilateral. Every square is a rectangle, but inversely it's not correct.
