Is slope of line L > 0?
1) Line L passes through two quadrants
2) Line L doesn't pass through Quadrant II
target is slope of line L +ve
if the slope of line is +ve then the line will intersect quadrant I & III , also a case if X intersect is -ve , then line intersects quadrant II and if X intersect is +ve then quadrant IV .
#1
Line L passes through two quadrants
this is possible when slope is -ve and passes quadrant II & IV or
slope is +ve and passes quadrant III & I
insufficient
#2
Line L doesn't pass through Quadrant II
in this case slope can be 0 i.e. passing quadrant I & IV parallel to Y axis or quadrant III & IV parallel to X axis
or else slope is+ve passes quadrant III & I
insufficient
from 1&2
case I : slope can be 0 passing quadrant I & IV parallel to Y axis or quadrant III & IV parallel to X axis
case II slope is+ve passes quadrant III & I
insufficient
