Together (1) and (2) is a multiple of 24.

answer is E,

C is wrong because: you can have the number 12 (that is a multiple of both 4 and 6) and 24 , you can get two answers,, hence wrong. Hope this helps

Its E. n can be 12 and 24. So n can be a multiple of both 4 and 6 and still not be a multiple of 24.
