D

(1)
a^2*b = a
ab = 1
(2)
b^2*a = b
ab = 1

IMO C
1) ABA=A => A(BA-1)=0=> A=0 or AB=1 INSUFFI
2)BAB=B => B(BA-1)=0 => BA=1 or B=0 INSUFFI

hence 1 and 2 AB=1

HENCE IMO C

agree with E. There are three solutions: A = B = 1 (AB = 1), A = B = -1 (AB = 1) or A = B = 0 (AB = 0)

I first went for C, but after reading other people's explanation, I can agree that the answer should be E. The mistake I did here was that I considered only 1 of the variables to be a zero, but I forgot to consider that BOTH variables could be the same value! hehe...that was stupid.
