(1) x^2 >x.........x^2-x>0........x(x-1)>0 The number properties does straightway tell us that when x is a fraction between 0 and 1, the value decreases as the power of x increases. So we can say that the answer is NO. Two case: a) If x>0, then x-1>0 or x>1........So x>1 b) If x<0, then x-1<0 or x<1........So x<0 So x does not lie between 0 and 1 (2) x^3 <0....x<0 Answer is NO D

1) x^2>x => x^2-x>0 => x(x-1)>0

we have 2 cases: i) x>0 and x>1 its not clear whether x lies between 0 and 1 NS

2) x^3<0 we can definitely say that x doesnt lie between 0 and 1

Option 1 Sufficient

(2) x^3 <0
This statement says x < 0 and so x is not between 0 and 1.

or, x(x-1) >0 so, x<0 or, x>1, so x definitely not between 0 and 1. Sufficient.

Stat2: x^3 <0
So, x<0, so x definitely not between 0 and 1. Sufficient.
