Hi , I got 675 (96 %tile) Q 84, V83, D83 in GMAT FE , Should i give it again and score atleast 705 to get call in R1?
What are my real chances with this score ?
10th - 9.8 CGPA
12th - 85.6
Btech- 7.65 (NIT Bhopal)
Work ex - 5 years in consulting and analytics
Extra curriculars - Worked full time in NGO for a year.­

Can anyone please help me in this ?­

Well, this is a very decent score. However, if you were getting a score consistently higher than this in your official mocks, a retake would not hurt krispy289.

krispy289 ­- 675 is a good score, assuming the sectional split was balanced too.

Whether you should go for a retake would depend on:

- Did you score higher in mocks, and do you foresee high chances of an improvement if you were to retake?
- How strong is your professional arc i.e. which firm(s) have you worked in (e.g. ZS is a feeder for ISB), key achievements, were there promotions(?) etc.

admitStreet i messed up my strongest section quant ended up getting 84 , in mocks i got average of 715 with Q89/90 . i feel that i can do better overall or at least in quant .

If you were getting 715 on mocks, I would say: go for it krispy289.

p.s. Incidentally, the GMAT FE algo for Quant is very brutal. So, you might actually end up finding that GMAT penalized you heavily for just one or two wrong questions that you got wrong (out of 21) on Quant.

There have been people who have reported Q79, with just two wrong!­
