Yes it is because I think if they start rolling out the calls in October, they won't be able to wind up with the interviews by Diwali. I'm not sure though if the information they give on phone is accurate, as someone else asked them about the interviews yesterday and they said they'll start rolling out the calls in 2-3 days.

My application status still says submitted online. I think they haven't still evaluated all the applications.

Maybe the competition is really close this time.
Either all candidates are excellent or all candidates are really bad.
Maybe that's why it's taking them so long to decide.

Any update yet? It's been 9 days past the date mentioned. Will the results date be postponed??

I wonder why there has been delay. Quite a few applications probably.

Afaik they would give out 300 interview calls, and they're lookin' to get a hundred each from final and pre-final year. If they roll out interview calls in the last week of September, with a minimum of a weeks notice, interviews could start around the 3rd of October. Which gives them 11 days till the 15th, not counting the Sundays. Which comes to a little over 27 interviews a day.

Not completely un-achievable.

What I'm trying to say I guess, worrying means you suffer twice. It's still okay if we haven't gotten the calls yet.
