Hi  bb

I am planning to buy EP1, EP2 and QP. During the weekdays I practice at my office and during weekends at home. Can EP1, EP2 and QP1 be accessed on two systems (with a single purchase)? If yes, is progress synchronized?

I can access GMAT prep freeware on more than one system but it's a freeware. Though, the progress is not synchronized.

Hi. Thanks for the question. 
You can activate licenses up to 3 times, so yes, you can install it on 2 computers. Your progress won't be sync'ed (obviously) as the software does not contemplate that feature.

Hi  bb  would you have any idea whether, the reading comprehension issue in question pack 1 has been rectified?

there's an issue in the reading comprehension section; one gets different RC passages for each RC question. I face this issue on gmat.wiley.com as well.

just want to be sure before I make a purchase.

If you have purchased GMAT Prep Exam Pack 1, Exam Pack 2, or Question Pack 1 from GMAT Club, READ THIS:

As you know, starting April 16th, GMAT is administered in a shorter format.

As of April 30th, GMAT Prep is moving online and EP1, EP2, and QP1 are being converted to the online format. Only those who have purchased the products between Jan 16, 2018 and April 30 are eligible.

This is what you need to decide: Do you want to keep your EP/QP as they are OR Do you want to upgrade to the online version?
Please let me know by May 10th

If you decide to upgrade, please keep this in mind:

Your OLD GMAT Prep QP/EP's will be deactivated
Your progress, already taken tests, or questions, will not be transferred
If you have attempted any tests, they will not be accessible.
The number of retakes is limited to 2
Products will only be valid for 6 months, after which time, access will expire
I will exchange your products with GMAC and will try to turn this around ASAP but it may take a few days. Just FYI if you are very time sensitive.

I found the below in the above link-

1.In addition to this, our developers will no longer support the existing platform and we will not push any new updates to the GMATPrep® software. -- So desktop GMAT Prep software will NOT support the updated GMAT?

2.For how long can I use my GMAT® Official Practice Exams and Practice Questions?
For purchased products, you will have 12 months to activate the product after purchase, and you will have access to the product for 12 months from date of activation.-- Is this true for Exam packs that were purchased say 2 years back?

Unfortunately, no.  This page  says that the purchase must have been made between Jan 16 and April 15 this year. On top of that you must also send your request for a replacement code in by May 11. Looks like anyone looking to use their exam/question packs online is out of luck unless they bought their products recently.

1. Correct, the Desktop version will not support the new GMAT format
2. That's not relevant to anyone who has purchased and activated their products already - that is only speaking about activation (e.g. you buy a product but don't activate it)

oh okay. did you get veritas cats as well ? and how many retakes you got for official mocks and veritas test ? and till what time they will be valid ?

I got the 7 additional Veritas Prep CATs when I purchased the premium bundle. I purchased the bundle for $49. The premium bundle is valid for just 3 months I think? I never used the Veritas CATs. I used the GMAT club CATs specifically for Quant. So far I must say, the Quant CATs are very nice.

For GMAT Preps 3 and 4, I took the GMAT prep 3 last week. I will use the GMAT prep 4 tomorrow, just 2 days before my first actual GMAT.

If you have a lot of preparation time, I highly recommend you purchase all GMAT prep, and also the GMAT Club premium bundle. If you do not have enough time to practice but are considering to get a course for let's say verbal portion, then you can get the GMAT club CATs (9 verbal, 21 quant I think?) for free! This was something I did not saw before. Since I was a little bit short on time, I purchased the premium bundle first, and then e-gmat for verbal after a month.

Anyways there are a lot of good stuff from the premium bundle as well!
