Hi, I have applied (round 4) for the MSc international Business for Ivey’s Jan 2023 start. I have a 3.5 GPA in college (2 degrees- BS in Finance and Business Data Analytics), both programs in the top 20 in the United States, multiple leadership positions in college, an internship in wealth management and 1 year of full time work experience. No GMAT/GRE test though. It would be great if someone could provide their insights on my chances, as it’s my dream program, based upon the fact how practical and case-based the curriculum is and their reputation in the consulting job market. I’ll have to wait until next September for other programs if I don’t get in, which would be a crucial amount of time at this point in my career. So stressed out! Thanks in advance.

I believe that they offer a waiver for students having heavy course load in business analytics or similar work experience. But having GMAT helps in strengthening your application, as it might compensate the slightly lower GPA. Additionally, your essay speaks a lot about you, so work on that as well. Ivey wants to look at your complete story.
Hi, thank you so much for reaching out. I have actually already applied for the program. Just a little concerned about not having a GMAT score. I might not have time for GMAT preparation until September as I’m juggling between working full-time and a professional program. My essays came out good as I got great feedback from a couple of my mentors. Please let me know if you have any other insights or advice for me!

Did you have a pre application discussion with someone from Ivey, as they do recommend this. If they feel that someone needs a GMAT score they suggest it then. Even in cases of an application without a score they can ask you to take the test later if they are comfortable with the rest of your profile.
Hi! My application status has now changed to ‘decision sent’. I haven’t received any email yet. Does this mean my application was rejected or is it the same for everyone who got interview invitations? Thanks!
