But we don't know that speed of James was constant throughout this journey hence

Given that James drove past three inns in the order Inn A ———— Inn B ———- Inn C.
Need to calculate the speed of James when he drove past Inn B.
Statement 1:
(1) James covered the 64 kilometres between Inn A and Inn B in 1 hour and 4 minutes
The distance between A and B is 64 km
Time taken = 64 mins.
Speed when he drove past B cannot be found using the data given. Hence, INSUFFICIENT.
Statement 2:
(2) James covered the 32 kilometres between Inn B and Inn C in 32 minutes
The distance between A and B is 32 km
Time taken = 32 mins.
Speed when he drove past B cannot be found using the data given. Hence, INSUFFICIENT.
Combining statements 1 and 2, we get the speeds while traversing section 1( Inn A ———— Inn B) and section 2 ( Inn B ———- Inn C).
But, not the speed at the exact juncture Inn B. Hence, option E
