What would be the future job prospects for an Indian who is planning to do an MBA from USA once the Covid situation is over. Will it be wise to go for an MBA in the coming few years.

Job situation in USA is in one of the worst phase right now. But the situation due to covid is expected to be under control by the year 2023.

36+ million unemployed in US. It will take at least 2 years to recover from the damage. Also, F-1 student has 90 days aggregated (total) maximum allowed period of unemployment while on the 12-month post-completion OPT. The decision depends on your risk appetite.

I am assuming by few you mean 2-3 years. It appears the situation will be bad as of now in the coming 2-3 years.

A prospective MBA could not gauge the current situation exacerbated by:
1. H1b Ban,
2. OPT restriction
3. Lottery H1b
4. Hiring American first

All these particularly affecting Indians. Honestly Indians have to re-think or live in fast super developing India as Indian media portray.
