Calls started going out for Round 1 on December 6th, which is 2 weeks before the official decision date. Applying that timeline to Round 2, yesterday would have been the first date for anyone to hear back. I really shouldn't have looked back, but I did. Hope this helps for everyone else's anxiety levels!

I looked as well...it is comforting that I am not the only one! But it really seems most of the calls came just the week before. So, I'm guessing my cell phone will not be leaving my hand all next week!

Hey are you also an R2 applicant. I applied on Nov 30 and it went under review on Dec 20. Do you think getting an invite now is an unlikely scenario, especially for international applicants.

R2. I think people were interviewing until the last week of R1, but with invites going out for R3, it looks like they're closing up and making decisions on recent R2 interviews. This is all speculation though...

How can their R3 process be so slow....

so it appears that between that time an application is reviewed to when an invite is sent out is 10 days to 2 weeks. If they're not sure about you, it will be later though....as much as a month. I assume this is when the second reading takes place and an interview gets requested.

And i assume the app has to go "under review" for each and every applicant...mine still says "submitted" and i applied in Rd3...

Hey All

When I got my Johnson admit call in early Jan, I was told that I was also invited to their Scholarship weekend on March 10-11. Shortly after, I received a "Scholarship Weekend Save the Date" email. However, I have not heard a single thing about this weekend since. Its 3 weeks away, and I would have expected that they would have followed up with some sort of schedule, details etc. so that people could plan their way up there. Its coming up awfully soon (assuming I wasn't disinvited), and i'm getting worried that I havent heard aything more about it.

Has anyone else heard anything? Does anyone else know more about this weekend, and what exactly it entails?

win some, lose some my friend. good luck with other schools and if you're reapplying next year, perhaps you can address perceived weaknesses in your application and become a stronger candidate. In the grand scheme of things, a year isn't going to make much difference

just for the record: i was invited to interview literally five days before the R1 deadline (the date where they tell you if you got in or not) - and i got accepted. so unlike other schools that were much more structured in terms of notifying people on certain days, johnson seems to keep openings up until the end.

not trying to give out false hope - just telling my story.

got an admit call today! i'm a R2 applicant (nov round).

it was a from a blocked number so i actually let it go to voicemail since i was not expecting anything from Johnson for at least another week. i called back right before they left for the weekend and got the good news!

i think the reason for such an early call is because i've also been invited to the scholarship weekend in early march. admission person said an email with details of the weekend will be sent out Monday.

i'm very excited. very grateful. and looking forward to visiting campus again. good luck to everybody else.
