Yes, I did. I submitted an additional letter of recommendation even though I already had 3 for my application. The weakest part of my application was my quant score, so I was pretty sure that's what was holding me back. I signed up and completed the MBAMath course, which is a course that all Cornell students do before starting the Fall semester, and submitted my transcript to the ADCOM after successfully completing the course. Lastly, I submitted a letter directly to the ADCOM explaining why I'd be a good fit for their program and the value I would add. I only sent them two updates just because I didn't want to be a pest. This seemed to do the trick for me, although everyone's situation is going to be different.

R2 applicant here. Got waitlisted with no interview at first, but got off the WL and received an interview with adcom during early April. received offer 2 weeks later. Since waitlisted I have not submitted any updates at all. For those still on the WL, don't lose hope:)

Just got accepted off the WL from round 2 this morning. I have a week to make the call between Cornell and Carnegie Mellon... or pay 2 deposits and keep debating.
