Register for the BIGGEST GMAT competition of the year:

$30,000 Prizes at GMAT Club Olympics July 8 -19, 2024
Im not able to register for this. Once I checked ’join competition’ the option is no more and sometimes it gets me to login page. Anyone else faced the same?

Is anyone using Top one percent for GMAT prep ? I wanted to know how good it actually is and how does it fare against TTP , specially for RC and verbal.

Didn’t like top, personally. They’re more marketing-driven. Barely any focus on content and teaching. Don’t respond to you properly as soon as you subscribe, but will bombard you with messages and emails when your subscription expires. Their app is also terrible

somehow I am better in solving higher rated Verbal questions and I mess up lower rated questions? What could be the reasons?

TOP has just copied everything from everywhere. They don’t focus on your learning. I would suggest not to go with them. They are gimmicky.

I only liked TOP’s RC.

Currently I’m doing the course again from TTP and it’s way, way better. A lot more structured and focused on conceptual leaning. RC isn’t that great.

I took their demo and saw their YouTube page being flooded with all sorts of great results and 99s. Any thoughts on that ?

I feel the same about their marketing , too extensive

Should I pursue online GMAT program from IMS or from experts global..?? Will anybody help me as because pricing and all is almost similar

Also, courses from magoosh/TTP/Manhattan are very costly as compared to experts global

Because of their marketing, 1000 students are getting enrolled with them, even if 1 scores good they market it like crazy. I personally don’t recommend them

Also the people who score well are generally people who have already been preparing for a while or are already demonstrably intelligent. Just check their profiles. You’ll understand. So it’s not TOP that makes them score well, it’s they themselves.

I agree to it 100%, Most of them have already prepared or are intelligent, still in college etc

Sandeep never answers to your queries, doesn’t let you speak in class, he doesn’t allow you to interact with anyone else. The worst part was he gave us old CAT math material to practice for quant. I know there is overlap but he can’t just give it from CAT that too from some other institution. I just hated it.

I’m not sure. Currently doing from TTP.

Also a friend of mine took from Jamboree and he doesn’t recommend it at all.

I believe GMAT is a self preparation thing. As reasoning can not be taught with a set of questions! It has to be acquired by ourself

I think TTP is the best till now. Because it provides platform where you have to read and then solve questions unlike video lectures. Personally, I think it is the best way to concentrate. For quant- you can refer TTP and for verbal -gmat ninja.

I believe GMAT is a self preparation thing. As reasoning can not be taught with a set of questions! It has to be acquired by ourself
But strategies can be taught. And this is not an IQ test. This is just a standardized test, can be coached.

TTP course is really good. Instead of wasting time on video lectures, TTP helps you to scale up fast.

TTP is better in my opinion. They have a full access free trail for 5 days. Just try it. It’s amazing.
