Best would be to understand types and patterns of CR and RC Questions...Assumptions, Inference, Primary Purpose etc., just to get familiar with the question types. Then I’d suggest to go through GMAT Ninja’s CR and RC Playlist and simultaneously solve OG. [If you’ve taken a prep course like egmat or ttp, it is better to follow their modules and solve their questions alongside OG]. Stick to as much as official material as possible. This serves as a good starting point

It is analytical! Author’s analysis is he feels Shaw’s interpretations may not have been fundamentally correct (and hence the skepticism), but the author also believes that Shaw’s ideas did work.

"What makes this very questionable diagnosis appealing is that it seems to answer problems raised by three very different interpretations of the American Revolution.".....This line shows author’s skepticism but also his enthusiasm

Hello all. I’m facing 3 kinds of problems in solving verbal and DI questions while giving mocks and during timed practice sessions -
1. I miss out on key details given in the passage/question
2. i have to quickly reason and mark the answer. And Later on , while analyzing I realize that the question was doable but due to time constraint I couldn’t
3. My mind wanders off in the middle of reading long passages and going through information in tabs in msr questions

Anyone else faces this?

How to improve?

What helps me is mapping out the passage - I write down quick bullet points for each paragraph while reading - it helps me stay focused on the text but also when a follow up question is asked I know which paragraph to go back to

How to improve?
Try doing this - Take a couple of long RC passages and take as much as time you want to read, understand and comprehend everything. Then look at the questions and instead of finding out the right answer, find "Reasonable Articulable Suspicion" (Yes, I ripped that term from those US citizen v/s cops videos :)" against 4 wrong answers. After a while, your brain will automatically fine tune itself to spot the 4 incorrect answers quickly while you’ll also enhance your comprehension skills.

What’s a "PC" in GMAT Verbal?
Para completion?

That's a good guess. I have no idea really... PC is not a standard shorthand for anything I am familiar with 🤷‍♂️

Only DNS96 can answer this now  I literally reviewed the OG Explanation section just to figure out what "PC" could be! No clue at all!
