Hi ,

I am stuck between Kelley and Mcdonough admits, for a career in brand management. I currently live in the bay area and would like to move to the west coast post-MBA.

The cost factor really is pushing me towards kelley and also the career services. Being an international applicant and with the current political climate, securing jobs is tough.

I spoke to a few candidates from both schools and they seem to be pretty collaborative and helpful!

Please give me your thoughts on this. Would be of much help.

I would go for Kelley. Both schools are great, but one of them is offering you money.

Georgetown has a strong undergrad brand esp in DC and Gov. since you are not pursuing those goals, the value of McDonough will not be utilized per se.

I think the other pluses of McDonough would be the location, quality of life (though at a pretty penny).

I feel since you are not pursuing any of McDonough’s strengths, it may be a great trade to go to Kelley with a scholarship. The rankings are almost identical, so you are losing anything there...

Honestly, I do not think that Mcdough has presence in west coast. From its report in 2016 & 2017, the percentage is between 15% - 25% but you do not know in in which sector. I advise to shoot email to the director of career service. He is very nice and collaborative.
