Interview happened with Adcom for 33 minutes including my questions. Told that it would a blind interview ( She only had my resume & goals section )
She started my reading out my resume highlights.
1) Why did I choose my function & industry?
2) 1 Follow-up question on that
3) Career progression compared to peers?
4) Short-Term & Long-Term goals?
5) What did I do till now to reach those goals?
6) What's my backup plan?
7) Why MBA? Why Kellogg?
8) What aspects of leadership am I trying to develop?
9) TMAT where I had to work with someone I didn't like?
10) TMAT I failed?
11) TMAT I faced adversity?
12) Constructive feedback I received and my response?
13) Professional achievement I am most proud of?
14) What's my leadership style?
15) What's my take on collaboration? How do I implement that in my leadership?
16) Three adjectives that my colleagues would use to describe me
17) Strengths & Weaknesses?
18) Anything else I would like to add?
Ended with 2 questions from my end. Tone of the interview was positive but interviewer probed with follow-ups for multiple questions. Asked me not to give lot of context and be short answer keeping in mind the shorter duration of interview. Cautiously optimistic.

Interviewer introduced herself and set the expectation about the duration (30-40 mins) and explained how this was just one part of them knowing me better.
She seemed genuinely invested and curious to get to know me better. A few of her questions felt like thoughtful follow-ups based on what I had just shared.
1. She had already gone through my resume, and she wanted to discuss first about my corporate experience.
2. Most meaningful contributions I’ve made to the firm and those I worked with
3. Then she wanted to understand why did I pivot to my startup, what stage was it in and what was the future?
4. How would I work on my startup along with my academics?
5. What skills do I bring to improve collaboration and team work?
6. Short term and long term goal
7. Plan B if current short term goal couldn't be materialized?
8. Leadership experience difference b/w corporate and startup? Which was better?
9. What I like about my leadership skills?
10. Three strengths my coworkers like about me?
11. Three weaknesses my coworkers feel I could improve upon?
12. Failure story?
13. Why MBA?
14. Why Kellogg?
15. Contributions to Kellogg?
16. Why now? Will I be able to adjust to school/campus life after these many years of work experience?
17. Is there anything else I'd like to share?

The interview was with a member of the admissions committee, and it was a pleasant experience overall. She had only seen my resume and it lasted 35 minutes.
– Tell me more about your role, what does a normal day in the life look like, if there is one?
– Tell me about your experience with a team through an example.
– What is your leadership style?
– If we gathered the vast variety of people you work with, what are three positive qualities they would say about you?
– Tell me about a time you worked with a diverse group of people.
– Why do you want an MBA?
– Why Kellogg?
– Anything last things you’d like us to know? (asked twice)
She had given me an overview of questions at the start which was a nice touch and put me at ease. She mentioned she’d ask about goals, but I think I covered that through my other answers, which is why it didn’t come up.

Interviewer was an alum, but apparently super involved with recruiting. She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout.
It was very resume-based and fast-paced, but nothing too hard (super friendly vibes overall). A few of the questions:
– She asked me to clarify an experience in my resume.
– How was your experience at Firm A (summer internship)?
– Did you go directly to Firm X after that internship?
– Was your move to Role X a promotion (second role at Firm X)?
– Would you say you were on track with your peers at Firm X?
– Why did you receive a promotion ahead of your peers at Firm X?
– Why did you decide to leave Firm X?
– What is the role Y you took at Firm Y?
– What did you learn in that position?
– Tell me about a time when a teammate wasn’t pulling his own weight. What did you do?
– What did you mean by (specific thing I mentioned in previous question)?
– What do you do to guarantee you work well with your teammates?
– Do you lead teams?
– Which extracurriculars did you do at Firm Y?
– Why MBA?
– What is your backup plan after the MBA?
– Why Kellogg?
– What are the steps you need to do to achieve your post-MBA goal?
– Anything we didn’t cover?
– Any questions for me?

2. Why MBA?
3. Why not try for my short term goal without an MBA?
4. Plan B if my goals don't work out.
5. Leadership style.
6. Difficult situation.
7. What have | learnt new in the last couple of years?
8. 1 Strength and 1 Weakness.
Wrapped up in 30 minutes.

I think my friendliest and warmest interview so far! My interviewer had a fixed set of questions that she had to go through and she mentioned the number of questions in the beginning of the interview itself and how many were left after every few questions - this was very helpful for my nerves. She didn't have too many follow up questions but asked for a few details here and there when she got fascinated with some of my patient case stories. The questions I can remember are -
1) Tell me about yourself
2) ST-LT Goals and how MBA fits into it?
3) Why Kellogg?
4) How would you describe your leadership style?
5) TMAT you had to work with a difficult team member
6) TMAT you had to make a pivot in a decision you made at work
7) TMA your greatest professional achievement
8) Anything else you wish we would have talked about.
Then I had 5-10 mins to ask her my questions.

I had mine and it was a mix of standard stuff and personal questions. Expect the "walk through your resume" and "why MBA, why Kellogg, and why now". Most of the questions I had were drill downs into my specific experiences, things I talked about, my leadership experiences, leadership style, etc. Seems like interviewers have a lot of freedom to do it organically.
