For round 1 applicants we kindly request that you wait until the week of January 7 to contact our office." - We wait this long to say we want to remain on the list (after finding out who our manager is) or do we send a quick e-mail saying I'm in and then call them on the 7th to find our manager and start discussing next steps?? I have been scouring last year's Kellogg waitlist message board and it looks like they had date both in Jan and Feb LY. It looks like only two or three people from the group got in each round so I would say there is some hope. The majority who got phone calls or dings on the early dates were those who fell in the bucket of "need more specific career information". Unfortunately for me, I dont fall into that group so I'm preparing myself for a long spring. @ rreish hookemhorns and bsch2013 question for you guys - i sent our WL manager two e mail updates and never received an e mail response on either. Three days after I sent the first one I called to make sure he got it but now, a week after sending the second I dont really want to bother him. Has he been responsive to your updates??

He did not respond to my e-mail update. I called him two weeks after I sent the e-mail, and he said he received my update. He said he was just really busy, and hasn't had time to get through all of his e-mails. I wouldn't worry if he hasn't responded to you. I am sure he printed out your updates and included it within your file. This WL waiting game is no fun. As Kellogg wanted more information about my career goals, I am hoping for either a call or a ding on Wednesday. But my WL manager did say that I shouldn't be surprised if I am still on the WL after Feb. 20th. Good luck everyone!!

Had a struggle getting in touch at first, but when I got on the phone it was a good little chat. No response to my initial email saying I wanted to get in touch and K was my top choice prior to that call. When I submitted my prof update, he emailed back within 10 to 15 min and said it would be added for consideration. I hate being one of those over thinkers, but after seeing last yr's threads it looks like the people who get let in first are the ones who required added clarity to a specific part of their app, which unfortunately, I am not. I'd be the happiest dude alive if I got off the waitlist and in next Wed...

Yeah . . . I'm trying to pretend like Wednesday doesn't exist as a possibility. On the bright side, the March deadline is only 3 weeks from today . . . that's nothing!

I like your optimism! I didn't realize the Mar date was that close. At least if we don't hear anything on Wed, we won't have to wait -too- long.

I don't expect any acceptances tomorrow, not going to rule out dings, but I assumed we would at least get an email saying we are still on the waitlist? Does anyone know if they will say "you are on waitlist" or we just won't hear anything?

Totally just realized Rnd 2 decisions aren't being released tomorrow. For some reason I thought they were. Yeah, definitely don't think anyone will hear anything positive, though I could still see negative out there.

And I thought I was a pessimist. Jokes apart, I fully agree with Dakells. If anyone gets a call with an admit, please post. Dakells - Congrats on your other admits
