Hello everyone. In January, Kellogg announced that they'd be opening up their MBA admissions for college applicants looking to enroll in 2 to 5 years. I came across this like last week, and I've been scrambling to collect GMAT materials and get ready for another dreaded standardized test. Any idea if there will be a waitlist or not? My friend told me they may take less than 100 students as this is the first batch. So if the people selected choose to go to other M7 deferred programs, any chance for the others who gave an interview but were not selected?

Any idea if applicants who gave an interview have received rejections yet? My friend who got an interview waiver called up and was told everyone needs to have an interview to get in, so anyone who gave an interview and has heard back?

Good to know. I wish they rejected the interview waiver folks right off the bat like those already rejected, instead of making them wait till This week

I think if they gave you a waiver it has to do with their ability/capacity to conduct the interview (maybe they don’t have the manpower because they’re overloaded this cycle). I would think interview waivers are still in the running

Kellogg typically rejects people who got interview waivers (for MBA apps outside of Future Leaders, who knows if its the same for future leaders). Which begs the question of why give them out. Also with future leaders conducting interviews by invite only it makes no sense that they would give an interview waiver when they have the ability to select exactly how many people they want to interview so why not just prioritize the top candidates and reject everyone else and give no interview waivers...it also makes no sense to give interview waivers in a process where interviews are required to move on

I know Kellogg in the past has also done this thing where they email everyone a link to join a Skype call and on the call the Admissions team tells all the admitted students they have been accepted so maybe those of us who have gotten in will get a link to join the call sometime today or tomorrow?

That is super interesting, I've never heard of that! Would be awesome if it happened. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if decisions were released in the next five minutes or at 8pm on Wednesday at this point lol

Yeah, I've heard about this too. They send a link to accepted students (for full time mba) to join a video call with the dean, its sent 2-3 days prior to the final day of announcements usually.
But in a query mail about future leaders, adcom replied to me saying only emails and portal updates this time.
But they also said rolling so idk

Has anyone here not been interviewed but not been rejected either? I got an email 2 weeks ago telling me that I was not selected to interview (not sure if that's the same thing as an interview waiver). Getting accepted isn't looking probable right now but still clinging to some hope haha
