Congrats on your admits!

I agree with your analysis send a valuation of opportunities.

Maybe MaliFri has any feedback about Darden IB recruiting this year. At the same time, for these very niche and specialty areas, personal background and experience of the applicant often have more impact on the recruiting decision than the school’s brand. Often the value the school provides is your introduction and your connection as well as clubs which allows you to recruit in numbers and help each other as well as get more info from alums and perhaps a referral.

Hey I don’t have exact recruiting information from the last year or two but sharing with students as well as spending a couple hours on LinkedIn going through employees of various IB banks and firms you’re considering recruiting at, would help get a picture and that is some thing I would imagine you would have to do anyway in a few months after you start school is identifying target employers and starting to network and strategize how you will recruit.

I’m a Darden FY and can speak for the school here.
Indeed, IB recruiting is VERY strong, mainly for internationals - this year, we’ve got the first female international President for Finance Club. She’s an awesome woman from India and, I’m glad, a personal friend of mine.
This year, more than half the Finance Club Board is international. In my close circle, I know international going to all top-notch banks, so I’m talking based on facts.
I have no information about Kellogg, but be sure: if you come to Darden, you’ll be able to land a job offer WHEREVER you want. The case method and the community will be sure of that.

Hi how would you say about the BB/EB/MM mix of the offers and the tiers of the banks that students got into? Thanks.

This is a very busy week for many bschool students by the way, so you are probably going to get pretty delayed replies from across the board.

P.S. I would imagine that the recruiter mix is greatly influenced by the candidates themselves. Companies will come on campus but that does not mean they will hire you. You will see tons of MBB presentations during bschool and they will tempt you to apply only to reject 90% of folks  so yeah...

My guess would be that your recruiting would have more opportunities and more focus/engagement since Darden is so focused and has so many resources dedicated to IB but does not mean you succeed even if you have more opportunities. Looking at pay and salary data, Darden has higher average, entry, and high end pay for Finance
