Thanks for the note. Sorry you are not pleased with your results; sounds like put in a lot of good work.

Sure, if you feel you can do better (and it looks like you can), go ahead and take it again.

Knewton can indeed help you. You can use the on-demand functionality to set your schedule. You will be in good shape come October. And yes, the Money-Back Guarantee will apply. In other words unless you score 710 or higher you will get a full refund.

Let know if you have any other questions.

Best,
Josh

Thank you Josh for your quick reply. I will join the course by this weekend. Do you have any special discount for GMAT Club members or any promotional campaign?

Thanks and regards,
AG

oh
so it's possible to have the reduction price + the gmat club tests?

I joined knewton yesterday, using a friend referal and some one said on this tread (one page ago) that I could not cumulate the two offers...
anyway it's already done....

Hi josh,

I scored a 690 (Q50 V32) in the GMAT and had earlier taken the trial version of Knewton. I scored 610 in the diagnostic test. I am planning to retake the exam because of the skewed sectional scores. Do you think it is a good idea?
Secondly if i enroll for the money back guarantee scheme what will be my baseline score? And how do you give the refund?

Hi madeinafrica,

Sorry for the confusion. This is a special offer we're running until tomorrow, which consists of $100 off the price of the Knewton course, plus the GMAT club tests. (Under normal circumstances, the GMAT club tests offer stands on its own.) Regardless, you would not have been able to combine this promotion with the refer-a-friend offer. Does that make sense? I hope you're enjoying your Knewton experience thus far--don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions.

Nagpalanil, we'd love to have you join Knewton! As for the money-back guarantee: If you've taken the GMAT within 5 years, your official score will serve as your baseline for the 50 point guarantee. The refund will be made in the original form of the payment for the course, in US dollars.

Hope that clears up the confusion!

Best,
Chris

I think it's better to go for Knewton with gmatclub tests. Knewton + gmatclub tests offer is also available and much better than any other offer!

Hey guyz

I have question to the knew ton guyz.

I got 530 from official test. If I take your diognatic test and do greater than 530. Can You evaluate the higher one?

I mean If I get 600 from your diognatic test, will you assess my baseline 600 even I have official score,530.

I am not affiliated with Knewton so I don't know the official answer. However, I think you run the risk of scoring lower on the diagnostic. Also, I think an official score is a better benchmark for your progress than the diagnostic.

Actually i disagree with you cuz I tried knewton free and got 560. Real GMAT score is the lowest score I have ever got. This is why I wonder the official answer. In every way I can do better then 530. I hope they accept higher one as baseline.

I am not a Knewton rep, but from what I remember the baseline is the official score whenever available. Not the Knewton diagnostic.

Yes, the baseline would be your previous available GMAT score, taken within last 5 years. If previous GMAT score is not available Knewton diagnostic score will serve as your baseline score.

Hi all,

Yep, as several commenters have clarified:

If you have one or more official GMAT scores, we always use the highest of those as your baseline for the Money-Back Guarantee. The diagnostic CAT will serve as baseline for students without official scores, or who haven't taken the GMAT in the last five years.

Hope that helps!
