Online account will be active for 1 year. There are 12 session (1.5 hr verbal and 1.5hr math). You can choose to take that course in 1.5 month or 3 month. You can also watch recorded class.

Course costs $590. If you refer a friend you can get $150 (for every single friend you refer). If somebody refer you then also you can get $150 discount.

Practise material is really good (not very tough though). There are total 5 (+ diagnostic test) GMAT practise test. Math is really low scoring and verbal is bit high scoring.

Overall this course is good and cheap. If you want to improve your basics then it is for you. This course mainly concentrate on 650-700 level students. Getting 700+ of course depends on your calibre. Knewton will make sure that you have your basics strong (that is more than enough for me).

Teachers are also very helpful.

Recently took the test and as per Knewton standards I got my 50 points.

Diagnostic 530 Q-43, V- 21
Knewton 2 540 Q-42, V - 31
Knewton 3 600 Q- 42, V-32
Real GMAT 580 Q 39, V - 31

I took the full course. I attended every single class, repeating their online archives. I have completed approximately 40% of Verbal and 30% of Quant homeworks. I have 2 CATS remaining. I did not complete all of the homeworks nor all of the CATs.

Maybe if I DO the work I could have increased some more. I did work from other sources nonetheless.

Just some info for those who plan to take the class.

All the best.

I also just joined Knewton online course. Very promising. You can switch different sections to meet your study pace. I have a test schedule in 4 weeks so I will change different sections and attend different live sections. You can also access the archived class to review the materials that have been taught.

PM me if you're interested in joing Knewton. I will refer you and both will get $100 off. That is on top of $160 off by using the GMAT club discount code.

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how often the Knewton class teaches or discusses official guide problems?

To see where I am going with this, here is some background information:

I have taken the GMAT three times over the course of about 7 months, and I am going to give it one last shot. My first attempt was a 640, my second attempt a 630, and most recent attempt a 650. Quant is my biggest weakness, but I have managed to increase it during each attempt, going from a 36, to a 42, and finally a 43 on my most recent exam. However, on verbal, I went from a 41 (92nd percentile) on the first attempt, to a 34 (68th percentile,) and finally a 35 (73rd percentile) on my most recent exam.

I took the ManhattanGMAT course prior to my first exam, and they utilized a lot of official guide problems in class and every assignment consisted of MGMAT material along with official guide material. Therefore I ended up getting a lot of practice with official guide questions leading up to my first attempt. Prior to my second exam, I focused heavily on quant, and looked at the verbal very sparingly. However, timing and stamina issues are what derailed me in my second attempt. In preparing for my third attempt, I figured that if I could fix my timing and stamina, I would see a verbal score similar to what my first attempt was. I managed to address the timing issues but with that said, I did not even look at any verbal official guide questions this time around, since I had already gone through every single question in the OG in my two previous attempts. The only verbal I did leading up to this third attempt was via Kaplan and its online quiz bank. So I feel that either A) my initial verbal score was a complete fluke, (hard to believe that I could score that high based on pure luck) or that B) not studying with official questions really threw me off as I wasn't used to the format.

Basically, I see that Knewton boasts 3500+ practice problems, but how similar are they to the actual official questions? In class, are the official guide questions discussed? Are they assigned for homework? I would appreciate any thoughts as I am very interested in enrolling, but hesitant because I still feel the best practice comes from doing the official guide problems.
