Your question and answer choice A do not match.

B. core concepts such as particle types, models of the atom, and chemical bonding are required

D. core concept such as particle types, models of the atom, and chemical bonding is required

E. core concepts such as particle types, models of the atom, and chemical bonding is required -Correct

D and E both are correct
