Thanks! Of course :facepalm_man: :facepalm_man: :upsidedown :upsidedown

Also how do you select high yield questions on there? (I saw you said you were doing well with 700+ questions). Thanks again.

I do not select questions! The algorithm gives my question during the mock (diagnostic test)!
During my prep I only did 600-700 levels from the gmat club since 600 were too easy and 700 too hard (for quant)
For verbal during prep I was able to easily solve also 700 level on the gmat club

Hi everybody,
Started my preparation with a cold 440 Q32 V19 (without even knowing how DS works)
Then I did 2 weeks using an online platform
Another mock 500 Q39 V21
then did another month with the same online platform but I relized I wasn't learning anything. So I decided to start reading all the manhattan and practising on only one question/topic at once and only with this I saw some improvements, especially in verbal.
I practised a lot (maybe too much) using the gmat club and OG for 3/4h a day (I realized It's too much) but I didn't use an error log. (assume my bigget mistake)
Today I took my third mock after 2 months of the new "plan" and scored 560 Q41 V26.
Felt that quant was too easy in comprarison to the questions I usually practised on and Verbal....... I did tons of CR and I was PERFECT on 600 level , 90% on 600-700, 75% on 700 level (Only OG)
SC left behind but still decent and RC did only 10-15 texts , especially the last 600-700 level RC's I got 5/6 or 6/6 and so on (max one wrong per text).
During the today mock I felt : QUANT too easy, I could do some DS in 20 sec and I felt very fresh and with much time available .
VERBAL: I realized I got used to do one question at time but I definitely wasn't able to maintain concentration and mental "freshness" for 65 min. (i got wrong some ridiculous CR and the letters of RC texts felt flying).

I NEED TO CHANGE MY STUDY PLAN in a more strategic way and studying less hours per day (very often I ended up studying 5-6 hours a day, or thinking always to the gmat, even when out with my girlfriend  )
In june I'll have my final exams so I definitly need to reduce gmat daily time to max 30-60 min and then in July I'll start my intership (8 hours a day) where I hope I'll be able to study at least 2 hours a day before going to work. I would like to take the gmat in September max October in order to send my application in R1.

MY GOAL : 650+ (because I will apply to Master in Management 90% surely)
MY DREAM: 700 and I think I could achieve it if I find the perfect strategy for me

MY DREAM SCHOOLS: as everyone else out there LSE LBS HEC .......
more or less ACHIEVABLE : escp , Ie, Esade, Imperial (halfway dream-achievable I think).....

which online platform did you use in the beginning?

Hi mamu10,

The good news is that you have made a solid 120-point improvement from 440 to 560. That said, to make a major jump to 650 or even 700+, you need to ensure that you are following a linear and structured study plan that allows you to individually learn each GMAT quant and verbal topic, and then practice each topic until you’ve gained mastery. If you can put in roughly 2 hours each weekday and 4 hours each weekend day, that should be plenty of GMAT study time (as opposed to your current study schedule).

If you’d like any specific advice on how to study for GMAT quant and verbal, feel free to reach back out. In the meantime, definitely check out my article (suggested by @bebs) about how to score 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!
