It's very difficult to weight our chances as of now; I've been looking online and very little info can be found on this waitlist process. Does anyone know anything ? Is there any admit from the waitlist so far ?
How is it looking in any case ?

Hi mitsloanguy, I applied in R2 and got put on the waitlist with instructions that I would be contacted May 13th. On May 13th, I got re-waitlisted and was told to wait till July 7th. However, on around May 20th, I got an acceptance mail. I don't know if there were any other waitlisters who also received acceptances at that time. I didnt contact AdCom at all during my time on the waitlist.

Considering the time it will take to apply for visas, arrange accommodation, etc, its looking very tight for MBA2013 if you've not been offered a place so far. I also trolled through forums and couldn't find anyone who's been accepted from the waitlist in July. But if you've made it this far, I'd venture to say its looking positive for the next intake. Hang in there and good luck!

Wow i wish i was that lucky!!!
I was really hoping to make it for this year's intake but i am losing hope now :(((
I dont care so much about Visa issues since i am a europeean citizen so i would accept a place at any time in the process. It's really frustrating not to know anything about our chances... Really difficult and unfair situation

Dude, don't lose hope. The wait sucks, but it's better than a 'ding'. EU citizens have better chances at this point because they don't need a student Visa. You can just pack your bag at the drop of a hat. I'm an MBA2012... we had a no-show in our study group the first few days of orientation. They finally got a hold of him on Thursday and he said that he decided to not come. Friday, they took someone off the waitlist and he started classes with us on Monday.

Got my update a little bit ago, I am still on the waitlist. The e-mail said I am part of a small group of candidates that are still being considered should places become available for the class of 2013 in the next few weeks.

They also said they recognize the program start date is very close, but occasionally places become available in the final period. If I am not successful joining the class of 2013 I will be considered for the class of 2014, and I should let them know if I want to no longer be considered for 2013 but only for 2014.

Anyone else got a similar e-mail? Good luck everybody.
