i actually got a call from LBS couple days ago saying that he called me to check my english proficiency while also mentioning that this is somewhat mandatory check that he has to do....

we just had some general conversation for about 5 minutes and, after the conversation, he actually mentioned that the school will make calls on thursday..

would this be a good signal?

I am not. But recently I have had the chance to visit LBS and have a chat in person with my area coordinator, hence if I were lucky enough to be admitted they would not need that additional check.
Maybe this reasoning is a bit stretched, but hopefully not so odd.

And above all, I want to stay positive until an official decision comes!

You seem to have had good news from Wharton yesterday, congrats! I wouldn't worry too much if I were you..and yep definitely not believing anything until the final decision is out

Has anyone heard anything today at all ? I think it's just too brutal to leave it to the last day.

Even my manager noticed today and asked me if something was wrong :( !!

When are we expecting decisions? I saw someone mention calls, but I was under the impression that LBS sends decisions by email around or after 5pm (based on previous rounds).

Indeed. I did say "trying", after all....

I think emails go out shortly after 5pm GMT but it could be hours later and I have no idea what to expect if they notify via phone.
