So, I was side by side preparing my resume, essays, and LoR. Although I just have one doubt regarding the LoR. I was using AI to fine-tune the sentences, but it turns out to be 77-90% AI generated, which is not!! i myself wrote things and corrected the sentences. Now this made me wonder, do universities or admissions committees actually run LoRs through AI detectors? even if the recommendation is written based on genuine experiences but has few professional edits?
I get it that many applicants hire consultants too even I myself hired someone. But I'm just curious how admissions teams view this. Is the focus mainly on the content being authentic and truly reflecting the recommender's POV, or is there any risk in it being too polished or AI like?
I'd really appreciate insights from anyone who has gone through the same mim/mba application processes.
Thanks!
