Greetings GMATClub!
I'm currently in the process of trying to determine where to apply to grad school and I'm hoping some of you on here may be able to assist. A brief bio is below, please let me know if you need any additional information.
GPA: 2.8 from a well-known state university with average academics
GMAT: 710 - 46Q / 42V
Demographic: White American male
Overview of experience:
Career in Information Technology
In 5 year span I've ascended through multiple positions from a jr level technician to sr level engineer and I now work in IT management
Elected to the Board of Directors for my profession's professional organization
Hand-picked to be chair of large professional conference in my industry
I realize this is a very limited view of things, but with these pieces of information how likely do you think I would be to gain entry into a top business school (assuming I provide well written essays)?
My top choices at the moment are Darden at the University of Virginia and Tuck at Dartmouth due to their Case Method educational philosophies.
Thanks in advance, I truly appreciate it!
