Bunuel, I think the "discount on the quantity" line is confusing. Because I also solved for a discount beyond 100 copies

The discount is on the quantity beyond 100 and not on the overall.
Options are wrong.
Actual answer should be 0.15 $
Total cost for 160 copies = (100*0.02) + (0.75*60*0.02) = $ 2.9
Each person needs to pay = $ 1.45
Without discount cost for each person = 80 * 0.02 = $1.6
Hence savings = 1.6 -1.45 = 0.15
The wording in the question is clear and doesn’t need any change. It states, “
orders exceeding 100 photocopies receive a 25% discount,” which means the
entire order gets the discount if it exceeds 100 copies, not just the portion above 100.
So for 160 copies at $0.02 each, the full cost is $3.20. With a 25% discount, the total becomes $2.40. Each person pays $1.20 instead of $1.60, saving $0.40 each. The original solution is correct.
