Rate of A = X
Rate of B = Y
Both worked for 8 hours
(X+Y)*8 = 448
X+Y = 56
It is mentioned in the statement that A did more than half of the notebooks.
The value of X should be greater than 28, and the value of Y should be less than 28 to satisfy X+Y = 56 (X = Y = 28 is not possible, because A did more than B)
Now, if we substitute X = 23, Y = 33. Not possible (Since A >B)
X = 28 , No value is there for Y to take. Not possible.
X = 33, Y = 23. Gives a sum of 56. Satisfies the condition A>B
X+Y = 56, so, no need to check the remaining 3 options.
