Swati - You had mentioned about forming a FB group or something. Is there already a group of Indian students at MBS or in Germany in general? Are you guys already part of any such group? Though I do not have an admit at MBS yet, I would be applying later this year for the intake of 2016. Hence, I would very much love to be part of the group. Please let me know if there is any news on that.
Also, I would like to ask a question which is very specific to Indian students. I guess most of us would wish to work in Germany after graduation. Are you guys already planning to learn German before reaching Mannheim? Or do you wish to start learning German only after reaching Germany?[/quote]

I do not have an admit yet. I am waiting for invitation for 2nd interview.
I spoke to a few people and everyone told me that German language skills are a must to improve your employability. It would be very difficult (not impossible) to find a job without German skills. Also your social life would be far better if you have German language skills.

Hi All,
I have applied for Mannheim class of 2016. I have been asked to send a personal video.
Could you please share your experience on the same and if possible any links to sample videos for reference.
Also please advise on what contents to include in the video?
Any ideas to grab their attention and get called for the interview?
Also I do not know German. Is it necessary to speak a few words in German in the video? I think it would fall flat to do so without knowing the langauage.
Please send in your replies at the earliest as I need to send in the video soon.
