Thanks a lot :) Yes it starts in Jan but I might take up the german classes they offer in collaboration with Goethe inst. This would mean that I will move to Berlin by around Oct end.

Hi Akshay,
1. Unfortunately there is no online process for MBS application. So you will have to fill the PDF form (its damn annoying) and email it with ur docs to Gabriele. Her id should be mentioned on their site.

2. Docs include scanned copies of the following
a. grad transcripts
b. grad mark sheets
c. gmat score
d. ielts\toefl score
e. employment proof
f. additional docs such as certificates, awards etc.

3. Recos to be mailed directly to Gabriele by recommenders.

I gave my gmat today and scored 610. Can someone please suggest if i should apply for MBA in Mannheim and what are my chances of getting it through ?

Exp - 5 Years
Role - Project Manager
Industry - IT (Banking and Finance)
Qualification - B.E (80%)
12 and 10 - 85% & 75%
Have excellent recomendations.

I would suggest retaking your GMAT exam. Score above 650 is something they are looking for. But do not let my advice be the only advice, get in touch with Silver, she is really nice and will help you.

Do we need to give TOEFL for applications to MBS/ ESMT. I read MBS application procedure requires TOEFL but it appears as not mandatory from ESMT website. Is it a visa requirement for study visa for Germany?

For Indians, yes. it is a visa-requirement. My advice, go for IELTS. A hell lot simple especially after giving GMAT.

What was the turn around time for the final results? What was asked to you during the second interview? Can you please share your experience?

swatimahalwar and scarecrow - Congrats both for the admit.

Swati - You had mentioned about forming a FB group or something. Is there already a group of Indian students at MBS or in Germany in general? Are you guys already part of any such group? Though I do not have an admit at MBS yet, I would be applying later this year for the intake of 2016. Hence, I would very much love to be part of the group. Please let me know if there is any news on that.

Also, I would like to ask a question which is very specific to Indian students. I guess most of us would wish to work in Germany after graduation. Are you guys already planning to learn German before reaching Mannheim? Or do you wish to start learning German only after reaching Germany?
