I just applied over the weekend. How long does it take to receive an interview invitation? Since the decision date is April 1, I am assuming interview invitations will be sent within 2-3 weeks at the latest?

The interview invitation will be rolled out based on the merit of the application. Consider it to be done within 2-3 weeks as you said.

I applied a few days before the January 15th deadline and had my interview around the 20th. It was a great process. There were four of us who went and we split up in twos and did our interviews/meeting with career services. We got to sit in on a class and visit with current students. It was always a welcoming feel and everyone was so open to answering questions about the process. I got my admit Feb 14.
