A type of puzzle - is a noun + modifier.
Since there is only one singular noun between the types mentioned, I hope a type of puzzle refers to Sudoko.

Uses rely for singular subject one of (Subject -verb agreement) incorrect

Between a and c , c is more wordy or choose to prefer is more repetitive means same thing)

(D) Many who worked crossword puzzles now do Sudoko, it uses logic instead of obscure words.
Incorrect pronoun error it
