Got my admission binder today. Loved all the candid interviews by current and past students. Anyone else got their's yet?
I received the binder as well and thought all the info included was very helpful and informative. Looking forward to the Admit Weekend.

Has anyone received their login info for the Welcome Website?

Got my binder on 9th. Still no info about the welcome website. If I am not wrong, somewhere in the binder it is written that we'll get the credentials within one month of receiving the binder, so Feb end March should be the tentative date.

I believe the binder says "approximately one week" after receiving the binder we should receive an email with the URL and login info. I gave the MBA program office a call yesterday and the faculty member told me there was a technical issue with the site. He said that it should be up and running my the end of next week so we should receive an email then.

Yep, got the email with login credentials last week. There are some minor functionality issues with the site but overall, it looks like a great resource.

Congrats to those that have gotten in and good luck to those who are waiting for the golden ticket! Make sure to not miss Admit Weekend, I was a part of it last year as a Marshall Ambassador and the folks in charge of it this year are fantastic!

Who did you talk to to get your class visit scheduled? I'm doing an interview at the end of next week and would like to set one up.

On a different note - are there any cheap hotels that I can stay in and still get easy access to the metro to get to and from my interview? I'm hoping the avoid having to rent a car.

You can set up a class visit / info session through the Ambassador program (https://www.marshall.usc.edu/mba/admissions/visit). Since you are interviewing later this week, I would give the admission department a call and ask them how you should go about setting up a last-minute visit with an Ambassador. PM me for more info.

As for hotels near campus, I would check availability at the Radisson (3540 South Figueroa Street, L.A. 90007) or Vegabond Inn (3101 South Figueroa Street, L.A. 90007). Both are a bit on the pricey side but are right across the street from campus. You will however, have to get a taxi from the airport.
