Hey guys, really need your input here please.
I'm an international student with about 2.5 years of work experience. I spent a year as a teacher and my current job is as a tax consultant for the IRS in my country. I'm also on the younger side (just turned 24 years). Here are the offers I've received. Simon ($80k), Marshall($80k) and Notre Dame($90k) and UNC ($50k). UNC is completely out of my price range because of the low scholarship. I'm trying to take as little loans as possible. I'm interested in consulting (Accenture, AT Kearney, Pwc, Deloitte and Bain(dream job)) or tech(but I am yet to know what that really looks like) post-mba but I'm also open to other options because apparently business school exposes you to a lot of fields.
A big goal of mine is to be able to work effectively with data and give solid recommendations to colleagues and superiors from such data. It's a big knowledge gap I'd like to fill. I should also mention that price is a pretty important factor for me and so is prestige too. Although location wise, I'd love LA probably because of movies (please don't judge, I've never been there) I feel I may be happy anywhere really, so I don't want to place too much emphasis on location just yet. I'm going for long-term value over short term cost as well.
SO here's my predicament. Simon is the cheapest and is quant-oriented. N.D. is a dual degree MBA/MSBA program and Marshall has the famed Trojan Network. I feel like at Simon and ND that data hole will be filled but Marshall is also STEM so I anticipate the same thing here as well. By rankings USC>ND>SIMON for business schools only.
So what do you guys think? I know it's ultimately my decision but I'd like to hear feedback from those with more intel on anything I may not be considering, or from those in any of these schools! What would you do? Thank you!
