MBA.com site is down - When will it be back online?

Question

MBA.com site has been down since June 12th.

The site originally said "Something Big is Coming" and it was back online for a little while on the 13th but then was taken down. On June 14th, mba.com outage message was change to "Temporary Unavailable"

What can you do?

If you are registering for the test, you have to call
If you want to take GMAT Prep Online tests, you are out of luck at this time.
You can take the GMAT Prep if you have it already installed but it appears you can't run it after installing without logging into mba.com
You can still install the GMAT Prep pre-2012 software that does not have IR: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-prep-po ... 77548.html

When will it be online?

There is no timeline unfortunately. The GMAC representative said they are working to restore it "ASAP". You can decide what it means.

Hope it is back online soon. I was going to check a few things out about their new GMAT Prep Exams but no dice....

On serious note, I think they have not planned to keep it offline this long. Something went wrong with a rebranding or product launch.... is my guess, but it is something BIG

The site was up briefly at some point late last night, with all the new looks and other changes. When I opened it up, everything took forever to load and ended up showing 'errors'. They shut it down again. I can't access the mocks I had given over the weekend.

Do any of you have any idea on when the website will be up and running again? I have my exam this Sunday and I was planning on taking a practice test this week. I have been trying for the past two days!!!

Because who needs gmat prep tests anyway if something big is coming?

This seems like a sequence of unfortunate events and a pattern of neglect - first changing gmat format on a short notice, release of a half-baked gmat prep platform, discontinued old CATs, introduction of new subscription model that requires payment and now this.

I can suggest downloading the old gmat prep if anyone needs to practice now. We have a link somewhere. Let me know if you need it.

I wonder if there is an installer for a version that doesn't need the user to log in. Right now, some students who aren't already signed in are seeing something like this: 2018-06-14.png

Is it possible to cancel/reschedule GMAT exam without paying full $250 fee? I'm unable to do my CATs for several days already, and my exam is on the 18th...
