Hello,

I took my GMAT yesterday and scored 700 (V34, Q50, IR6). Please evaluate my profile for the b-schools mentioned below, and if I should retake GMAT again.

Profile:

Indian, Male, Engineer, 28 yrs
GPA - 7.95/10 (yet to figure out how to convert this to 4.0 scale)
10th Grade - 95%, 12th Grade - 93.8%
Undergrad college - Among top 15 engineering colleges in India
Specialization - Mechanical

Professional Exp (4.5 yrs)

1. Started my career in Ed Tech (approx 6 months)
2. Next, worked in oil and energy sector, in a Fortune 500 company in operations (primarily in Aviation sector) -1.5 yrs
3. Currently working as Analytics Consultant in a consulting firm. Worked for two clients, based out of US - gaming, pharmaceuticals - who are among market leaders in their respective industries - 2.5 yrs as of current date

In my current role, I work in the capacity of Team Lead, leading a team of 8-10.

Extra curricular:
1. In my undergrad, I was actively involved in Formula Student events (for almost 3 years) - two national events and one international event
2. For one event, I was the Team Lead, leading a group of 40 students. The team secured 7th national rank out of 45 participating universities

The MBA schools I am targeting:

1. Melbourne Business School
2. AGSM
3. NUS, Singapore
4. HEC Paris
5. ISB, Hyderabad

Post MBA plan - To work as Management Consultant

It will be of great help if someone can evaluate my profile, and let me know what chance do I stand in the above schools.

I am not sure about Melbourne Business School and AGSM but as far as the remaining 3 schools are concerned all I can say is that I have seen people with a similar profile as yours getting an interview call. Converting the interviews and getting admission is a different story but with your profile and a 700 on the GMAT there are good chances that you may make the cut for the interviews.

I would say you have very good chances, just work well on your essays.

Though MBS and ISB's average is higher than your score, you will have a good chance to get an interview call. So focus on essays and recommendations. Great essays and strong recommendations will play a vital role on your admit.
