MBAmission or Amerasia or Manhattan Review?

Question

Hi guys and gals, I'd like some advice here, I'm applying for R1 in 2013 for the M7 schools and I would really want to work with a consultant to have the best chance of getting in one of the schools. I literally talked to every single consultant company on this board and was impressed most by MBAmission, Amerasia and Manhattan Review. They all seem to be honest, know what they are doing and claim a high acceptance rate to the M7 schools. It's a torn because they all have excellent review online, any suggestions from your experience?

thanks man! yes I read through the whole thing, that's where I got my list of consultants, at this point it's hard for me to diffrentiate the 3 companies, would really like some feedbacks from the forum

My experience with Paul was extremely good; I cannot speak for the other 2 companies you've asked about, as I haven't worked with them. PM me if you need more details.

I also worked with Paul and Amerasia (you can see my review on the reviews page) and had a great experience with them.

I sampled around before I found Paul, but once I spoke with him, it was a done deal. Paul is one of the most experienced people out there and it shows - he knew exactly which angles to play up in applications, and how to bring out the story best. When the interview invites came in, he got my butt into shape and ready for the real thing. Plus, he's overall just a fun dude to work with.

I have heard that Adam and the others with Amerasia are similarly impressive.

Thanks in large part to Amerasia, I'm headed to an "M7" school. If you work with Amerasia, you will not be disappointed.

thanks guys... I guess I'm looking for a company that will:

- work very hard with me to build my profile, not just an excellent writer.
- challenge me and give me candid and realistic feedbacks.
- know what the schools want and spend time to understand all aspects of my non-traditional background to present my best side to the schools.

$5k for 2 schools or $7k for 4 schools is not pocket change and I just want to make sure the money is not wasted.
