Congratulations! I'm wondering....Do you think accepting an offer and paying tuition right away decreases your chances of getting a scholarship?

Thanks guys! Spouser - Hard to say, but you might as well wait a couple weeks for all of the scholarships to go out. There really isn't a benefit to paying the deposit early I wouldn't think.

About 15% of in-state tuition. Nothing too substantial but certainly a nice gesture.

They gave me an in-state tuition waiver which is 15k per year, and a recruitment scholarship which is 5k per year. Its not a full ride or anything but it knocks a good portion off tuition.

What do you mean 15% of in-state tuition? Do you already get in-state, so it's 15% on top of that? Well I've heard scholarships are rare from mccombs so congrats. Hopefully they still have more to send out.
