I'm interested in marketing - either CPG brand management or tech product marketing. I received a sizable scholarship + in state tuition to McCombs and I live in Austin (no moving). I did not receive any aid for Ross, but know it is slightly higher ranked and has the MAP program. I'm having trouble deciding which school since they seems similar in culture, ross may have slightly better recruiting and MAP but McCombs is significantly less and still an amazing school that will give me the foundation I need. I know former students doing what I want to do at both schools, which makes me think my outcome could be the same, just different grad school experiences. Please weigh in on whether the Ross brand is worth a significant chunk of $$ more.
Side note: I've visited both extensively, love both programs, and both schools have the same culture fit that I want.

Trying to give this a bump. Any insight is appreciate! I am down to the wire with deposits and really ready to make a decision and move forward. Limbo-land between schools is tough!

I guess if you like them equally and feel that your chances of getting your desired job/career immediately post-MBA are equal, then I'd go with the school that's offering you the money.
However, if you feel that the Ross MBA will serve you better in the long run and if you want to experience Ann Arbor for 2 years (get ready for the cold!) then I'd choose Ross.
You have to try and decide for yourself if Ross would offer any advantage at all over McCombs (in both the long and immediate terms) and whether or not that perceived advantage is worth the opportunity cost of the scholarship.
IMHO, I don't see Ross as having enough of an advantage to turn down a significant scholarship for the career path that you're looking for, but there are things that you may want to experience in your MBA that UT can't offer. I can't really answer that for you, that's more of a question for you to decide.
Remember most people only get the opportunity to attend an MBA program once.
