So let me start by saying this was my second year applying and after multiple rejects last year, this feels insanse. So INCREDIBLY grateful.
I could really use your help making this decision. All opinions are welcome and appreciated. (P.S. Thank G̶̶o̶̶d̶

My Profile:
- 6 years WE prior to MBA; Product Management (1 year) Product Marketing (5 years) Tech firm - a medium- sized startup India
- Goal: Product Management/Product Marketing for a top tech company in the US.
- Would prefer a moderate climate but that's not a major consideration.
McCombs:
- McCombs was the dream starting out. Seems like the best fit, Austin feels like a great city to live in and McCombs is good for tech and the kind of post-MBA goal I have I feel.
- Big brand in Texas. I think I could explore Tech Consulting if I want to.
- Bigger class size probably means more of a wider network.
- Least scholarship - would be significantly more expensive. Will try negotiating for more scholarship but I've heard they don't entertain that much. So at only 40K scholarship wondering if it's worth it.
Rice:
- International students seem to be able to land the post-MBA role I'm targeting (Product Management)
- Houston doesn't feel as exciting as Austin, but still I guess a good city to live in.
- I could probably negotiate and bring this scholarship up to a 100K.
Mendoza:
- Honestly after speaking to a lot of the alumni, I feel I didn't give this program enough credit in the beginning. A lot of international alums and students seem to have really enjoyed their time there.
- Recruiting as an international might get hard from here. Will probably end up in the Mid-west.
Carlson:
- Program seems strong. Finding a job as an international might be easier from Carlson than Mendoza or Simon.
- Mid west again. Not sure I'll enjoy that.
Simon:
- The percent of internationals seem bigger so maybe recruiting as an international from this school might be more competitive.
- Want to end up near the west coast so might not be the right program.
What I need help with:
Among these choices, if McCombs was kinder with scholarship, I would definitely pick that. My question as things stand now is whether I should pick Mendoza and breathe a little easier thanks to lack of debt or since I worked so hard to make it to McCombs I should pay for that experience since MBA is once in a lifetime.
I could probably get Rice Jones, Carlson, and Simon to give better scholarships. If that happens should I consider any of those before McCombs?
Thanks in advance for the help guys.
