First off, congratulations. Both are top MBA programs.
Secondly, while I do think you should think about geography preference I think the 30K you give up by going to Anderson is worth the difference in brand, reputation and alumni network. I'd consider doing some research on the following:
- % of class that goes into consulting for Interns and Full-Time.
- Number of students who go into consulting for interns/full-time.
- Quality and desirability of consulting firms that recruit students
- Alumni network of grads at those firms
I thing Georgetown is a great program that continues to improve but Anderson has just been better for longer. Considering you've grown up on the west coast, that isn't a bad option.

Hey everyone, I'm currently weighing Georgetown vs. UCLA and I'd love any feedback/insight you all could give me. I was admitted with $50k at UCLA and $80k at Georgetown.
My target industry after school is consulting, I'm wondering if UCLA's higher ranking will carry significantly more weight during the consulting recruitment process? Enough to turn down the extra $30k?
I'm geographically agnostic, grew up on the West Coast but I've lived in DC as well and loved it. Thanks in advance!
