Mendoza ($$) vs. Smeal ($$$$) vs. Questrom ($$$$)

Hello,

I am deciding between Mendoza (Notre Dame), Smeal (Penn State), and Questrom (Boston University). At Mendoza, I would end up paying about 50k in tuition. I have full rides to Smeal and Questrom. I am looking to switch career focuses and get into General Management or Operations. I am leaning towards Mendoza right now for the network/name/reputation. Any feedback would be appreciated!

If you focus on operations or supply chain, take Penn state and move on. It is one of the renown program in that field.

Agreed with the above. If you are sure on the ops side, definitely Smeal. If you want gm, I'd probably take Mendoza, but Smeal is still a solid option. In either case, I don't think Questrom has much pull unless your heart is set on Boston

I'm not focused on supply chain, so Smeal isn't as tempting for me. To be honest, my heart is set on Boston but I still think the Mendoza name makes me stand out more in Boston over Questrom when looking at the rankings.

Mendoza send ~20% of its class to the northeast, so I think it is worth it. I'm sure a lot of those are finance types to NY, but it will definitely have some presence in Boston as well.
In terms of quality, it is definitely a few steps up from BU and discounted pretty heavily. Plus, if you decide to change your mind on location you'll have plenty of other opportunities
