I read that they are no longer free with the purchase of a book? Is this true? Are they worth the purchase or should I spend the 75 dollars and get the exam packs instead?

Hey thinkpad18 ,

I think yeah they are worth purchasing. Moreover, exam packs also have their own advantage. If you have monetary constraints, go for exam packs. Otherwise I would prefer buying both.

They are definitely worth purchasing.

However, one of our students accessed the MGMAT test series through a book just about a month ago.

Was it 5th edition?

Found on MGMAT forum:
"The purchase of an individual strategy guide includes its associated online question bank, but does not come with access to the full roster of exams. The only book purchase that includes exam access would be Complete Strategy Guide Set or the Complete Prep Set."

I'd say the exam packs are better, but a lot of test takers benefit from the additional practice that non-official tests can provide. Also, the exam packs are likely to be closer to $100 ($90 if you purchase both together).
